Moscow’s Premier Electrical Exhibition
From June 4 to 7, 2024, Westhomes Ele took part in Elektro 2024, Russia’s major annual trade show for electrical equipment and technology. Held at EXPOCENTRE Moscow, the event brought together hundreds of companies from around the world. It offered a chance to explore what’s new in power distribution, automation, and safety solutions.
At our booth, we introduced a selection of circuit protection and switching products commonly used in residential, commercial, and industrial systems. These included breakers for different load levels, transfer switches for backup power, and devices designed to guard against electrical surges. We kept things straightforward with a few displays and brochures, and spent most of our time chatting with visitors about how these products could fit into local projects and meet regional standards.
About Elektro 2024
Elektro is one of Russia’s largest electrical trade shows, running annually for over 30 years. This year’s event featured national pavilions from countries like China, Turkey, India, and Belarus. Visitors included engineers, installers, distributors, and manufacturers looking for new suppliers and ideas.
There were also discussions around energy efficiency, automation, and how different products fit into changing industry needs—especially as the region looks for reliable and cost-effective solutions.
Takeaways From the Show
We met a lot of people—some with technical questions, others just exploring options. It was a good chance to listen, learn what matters most to teams in this market, and see how our catalog matches up.
While we didn’t aim to pitch hard, we were glad to have honest conversations and start a few that may lead to something more.
