Powerex Asia 2026 opened on October 14 and runs through October 16 at the Bangkok International Trade & Exhibition Centre (BITEC). Westhomes is exhibiting, and the first days have been spent meeting customers and industry visitors from across Southeast Asia and other markets.
Connecting Face-to-Face at Powerex Asia 2026
The show brings together suppliers and buyers from the power and electrical industries. For Westhomes, that means three days of product discussions, technical questions, and the kind of conversations that only happen when people are standing in front of the hardware instead of reading a spec sheet. The company makes the trip each year because some questions do not get answered over email.
Displaying High-Performance Low-Voltage Solutions
At the booth, the company is showing its low-voltage electrical products. Visitors can look at the parts themselves, ask about specifications, and walk through how a given product fits the application they have in mind.
Most of the questions so far have come back to three main areas:
How a product performs reliably in actual job site conditions and demanding electrical environments.
What specific technical functions and customizations a customer requires for their project in practice.
Exploring long-term collaboration opportunities and tailored support for regional engineering projects.
In-House Manufacturing & Quality Control Assurance
Buyers who come to a show like this are usually in the middle of a sourcing decision. What they want to know is whether the supplier can actually deliver, not just whether the catalog looks right. Westhomes develops and manufactures what it sells, and keeps quality control in-house, so the team can answer those questions directly rather than passing them along. When two suppliers look similar on paper, buyers tend to ask about this first.
Strengthening Relationships Across Southeast Asia
The exhibition is also a chance to reconnect with customers the company already works with in the region. Several of those conversations will carry on after the show closes. Between now and then, Westhomes is continuing work on product development, manufacturing, and after-sales support, and expects to follow up with the contacts made in Bangkok over the coming weeks.
The company works with customers across a number of international markets, and Southeast Asia is one of the regions where those relationships have developed. The three days in Bangkok are a small part of that work.
