WCQ2G series double power supplies automatic transfer switch (ATS) applies to AC50Hz, rated operation voltage 400V, rated operation current 16A to 2000A, to two circuits power supply of emergency power supply system. It can be set as manual of the mutual transfer between frequent-use and backup power supply, as circuit controlling switch of control, signal, and interlock functions. Some types of the product have communication ports to make it realisable of remote control and unattended substation to the user. Itapplies to residence community, hospital, mall, airport, etc.,
The ATS meets standards IEC/EN60947 and GB/T14048.11.

The WCQ2G automatic transfer switch works reliably under the following conditions:
Altitude not exceeding 2000 meters
Ambient temperature not higher than 40℃,not lower than-5℃,relative humidity not more than 95%.
No explosion hazardous medium environment
No rain or snow attack environment
Note:If the switch is expected to be used in conditions where the ambient air temperatureis higher than+40℃or lower than -5~-45,the user should explain to the manufacturer.

This topic is covered in more detail in Double Power Supplies Wcq2g Automatic Intelligent Type Changeover Switch 50Hz 400V Transfer Switch.
An isolated-type ATS provides a clear physical separation between the two source paths, so the main and backup circuits cannot feed each other through the switching device. This isolation improves safety during maintenance and prevents back-feeding into either supply.
The mechanical interlock physically prevents both source contacts from closing at the same time, while the electrical interlock inhibits the closing command of one source while the other is closed. Together they ensure only one source can be connected to the load at any moment.
Connecting two independent sources in parallel can cause dangerous circulating currents, out-of-phase synchronization problems, and equipment damage. The interlock system guarantees a break-before-make sequence so the sources are never paralleled unintentionally.
Double power supply means the load is fed from two independent sources—normal (utility) and emergency (generator or second feeder)—and the ATS seamlessly transfers between them. The controller decides which source is healthy and routes the load accordingly.
Because the isolated design provides a visible/positive break and locked-off position, maintenance staff can work on one source while the load is fed from the other, with confidence that the terminals are isolated. The emergency manual handle also allows safe local operation.
It is available in 1P, 2P, 3P, and 4P to match single-phase or three-phase systems. Use 3P for a three-phase three-wire installation and 4P when you need to switch the neutral alongside the phases.
The internal stored-energy/mechanism switching is fast (sub-second), while the overall transfer including detection and generator stabilization depends on the backup set. Adjustable delay settings prevent nuisance transfers during brief dips.
It is ideal for hospitals, shopping centers, airports, residential communities, and any site requiring reliable, fail-safe dual-source switching with strong isolation and interlocking.
It complies with IEC/EN 60947-6-1 (and GB/T 14048.11), which specifically addresses transfer switching equipment including the interlock and isolation requirements for automatic transfer switches.
Periodically attempt to close both sources together (via the controller and manually) to confirm the interlock blocks it, and verify the break-before-make sequence. Also check that the isolation position opens both source paths and that locking/tagging can be applied safely.
