Explore the 2000kVA EV charging station box transformer project in Jiaozuo Yusheng. Reliable, high-capacity power solution for fast EV charging infrastructure.
Westhomes provides ACB, MCCB, and MCB protection solutions for the Jiaozuo Yusheng 2000kVA EV Charging Station Box Transformer Project, ensuring stable operation, reliable load distribution, and enhanced charging infrastructure safety.
As electric vehicle adoption continued to accelerate in China, Jiaozuo Yusheng launched a 2000kVA box transformer project to support a new generation of EV charging infrastructure.
Unlike conventional commercial distribution systems, EV charging stations create highly dynamic load conditions due to simultaneous fast charging demand, frequent switching operations, and peak-hour current fluctuations. These conditions place significant pressure on low-voltage distribution equipment and increase the risk of overload, short circuit events, and operational interruptions.
To guarantee uninterrupted charging service and long-term equipment reliability, the project required a layered protection architecture with high breaking capacity, fast fault isolation, and dependable operational continuity.

Rather than applying conventional distribution protection methods, Westhomes developed a coordinated low-voltage protection solution specifically optimized for EV charging station applications.
At the transformer low-voltage outgoing side and main incoming distribution cabinet, Westhomes Air Circuit Breakers (ACB) were deployed as the primary protection layer.
Designed to manage large-capacity load switching and fault interruption, the ACB system provides reliable short-circuit protection while maintaining operational stability under continuous charging demand and high current conditions.
Westhomes MCCBs were installed throughout secondary distribution panels to create sectional protection across multiple charging circuits.
By rapidly isolating abnormal loads and minimizing fault propagation, MCCBs improved operational flexibility and reduced the impact of localized failures on the entire charging network.
At terminal charging units and auxiliary control circuits, Westhomes MCBs delivered precise overload and short-circuit protection.
Their fast response characteristics ensured safe charging operations while simplifying maintenance and future capacity expansion.
The successful deployment of the 2000kVA EV Charging Station Box Transformer Project delivered strong operational performance and long-term infrastructure value.
The project demonstrates Westhomes’ capability to provide reliable low-voltage distribution protection solutions for rapidly growing EV charging infrastructure applications.
