The WAFDD-63 incorporates advanced arc fault detection technology capable of identifying series arc faults, parallel arc faults, and ground arc faults in real time. When abnormal arcing caused by aging cables, damaged insulation, loose terminals, or poor electrical connections is detected, the device rapidly disconnects the circuit to help prevent overheating and electrical fires.
In addition to arc fault detection, the device provides residual current protection, overload protection, instantaneous short-circuit protection, and optional overvoltage and undervoltage protection, delivering multiple layers of electrical safety for both power distribution systems and connected equipment.
Available with rated currents from 6A to 63A, B, C, and D tripping characteristics, and a 6kA breaking capacity, the WAFDD-63 is well suited for a broad range of low-voltage electrical installations.
