Westhomes WNB1-63 2P Miniature Circuit Breaker – Simultaneous Phase & Neutral Switching for Enhanced Safety.

The Westhomes WNB1-63 2P MCB provides comprehensive protection by controlling and safeguarding both the phase and neutral conductors. Unlike 1P+N designs, this true double-pole breaker ensures that both poles are protected against overcurrent and are positively isolated when switched off, making it the safest choice for critical circuits.
Key Features:
Dual Conductor Protection: Offers thermal-magnetic protection on both poles, ensuring complete safety for the connected circuit.
High Interruption Rating: Confident 6kA breaking capacity handles high fault currents effectively.
Versatile Trip Curves: Choose between B, C, or D curves to match specific load types, such as motor starting (D curve) or general power (C curve).
Wide Voltage Compatibility: Suitable for both 230V (split-phase) and 400V applications.
Robust Build: Housed in a durable flame-retardant casing with IP20 finger-safe terminals, designed for standard DIN rail mounting.
Applications
Dedicated appliance circuits (A/C, water heaters), heat pumps, small motors, and applications requiring complete circuit isolation.

The Westhomes WNB1-63 2P MCB is a two-pole miniature circuit breaker designed for low-voltage AC electrical circuits. It provides thermal-magnetic protection against overload and short circuits and can simultaneously switch and protect both poles.
2P means that the MCB has two poles. In many single-phase applications, the two poles are used for the phase and neutral conductors, allowing both conductors to be disconnected simultaneously.
The WNB1-63 series is available with a rated short-circuit breaking capacity of up to 6kA. The actual breaker selection should be based on the prospective short-circuit current at the installation point.
The WNB1-63 series is available in multiple rated current options from 1A to 63A, including common ratings such as 6A, 10A, 16A, 20A, 25A, 32A, 40A, 50A, and 63A.
The correct rated current should be selected according to the actual load current, cable carrying capacity, and installation conditions.
The WNB1-63 series has a rated operational voltage of 240/415V AC and is designed for 50/60Hz low-voltage electrical systems.
For a 2P configuration, it can be used in appropriate single-phase AC applications where simultaneous switching of the two conductors is required.
The WNB1-63 series is available with three common magnetic tripping characteristics:
B Curve: 3–5 × In
C Curve: 5–10 × In
D Curve: 10–20 × In
B-curve breakers are generally suitable for loads with low starting currents. C-curve breakers are commonly used for general electrical loads, while D-curve breakers are designed for applications with higher inrush currents, such as certain motors and transformers.
Both configurations can switch the phase and neutral conductors, but their internal protection arrangements are different.
A true 2P MCB provides thermal-magnetic overcurrent protection on both poles, while a typical 1P+N MCB has the main overcurrent protection on the phase pole, with the neutral pole primarily providing switching.
Therefore, a 2P MCB may be preferred for circuits where full two-pole protection and isolation are required.
The WNB1-63 2P MCB can be used in a wide range of low-voltage applications, including residential distribution boards, commercial electrical systems, lighting circuits, socket circuits, small appliances, and control circuits.
Its two-pole configuration is particularly useful where both phase and neutral conductors need to be disconnected during maintenance.
The WNB1-63 series is designed for installation on a standard 35mm DIN rail, making it suitable for modular distribution boards and switchgear. It supports cable and pin-type busbar connections and allows connection from the top or bottom.
Installation should always be carried out according to the applicable electrical standards and the manufacturer's instructions.
When selecting a WNB1-63 2P MCB, consider the following factors:
Rated current: Match the MCB rating with the load current and cable capacity.
System voltage: Confirm that the rated voltage is suitable for the electrical system.
Breaking capacity: Ensure the 6kA rating is sufficient for the prospective short-circuit current.
Tripping curve: Select B, C, or D according to the characteristics of the connected load.
Pole configuration: Choose 2P when simultaneous switching and protection of both conductors are required.
For specific applications, Westhomes can provide technical support to help customers select the appropriate MCB specification.
